Videocast
We have been using MobyMax for several years and every year we have to re-upload and register all the students. I began to wonder if there was a way to make sure we could "work smarter, not harder". By taking a few steps this year it will make it more simple in future years to just promote the students to the teacher's account. I needed a way to get the information to all those involved with registering students and a videocast was the best option. Teachers and staff can watch or follow along as they either register their students or go back and change any information that may be needed.
The link below is my attempt at using Podcast Blaster in order to produce an RSS feed to my podcasts.

My reflection of this type of media as a videocast.
- Lee McFatridge is the narrator and producer of this video.
- I have entitled this video: "How to Register Students on MobyMax.com. This is a prescriptive program for math and reading we use in my school to either help students at risk or to escalate students beyond their grade level requirements.
- Although I have embedded the video to this site, the URL for this video can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdMll0C1IyQ
- The intended audience for this videocast are the teachers and staff of North Harlem Elementary. However this video could also be used for other schools that want to learn how to properly register their students.
- We have been using MobyMax for several years and every year we have to re-upload and register all the students. I began to wonder if there was a way to make sure we could work smarter not harder. By taking a few steps this first time this year it will make it more simple next year to just promote the students to the teacher's account. I needed a way to get the information to all those involved with registering students and a published videocast was the best option. Teachers and staff can watch or follow along as they either register their students or go back and change any information that may be needed.
- There were three programs used to put this videocast together. The music was altered with the use of Audacity. The initial videocast was captured using Screencast-o-matic. I used Wondershare's Filmora Video Editor to put all of the media together and produce. The only real issue I encountered is working with the RSS feed generator and learning how to work with Podcast Blaster. I am used to just putting videos on Youtube and not so much worried about other feeds. I will have to do more research into this avenue and work around it as I see fit.
